Glossier Phase 2: Makeup

Good morning, Lovelies! I got to go to a very exciting event this past Saturday, the launch of Glossier's Phase 2 makeup! For anyone who isn't familiar with Glossier, it's a skincare and makeup company started by Emily Weiss from Into The Gloss, which is an amazing blog if you don't already read it! We actually met Emily on our way up to the Glossier penthouse, and she was just as lovely and genuine as she comes across online!

Starting with skincare! Glossier's Phase 1 line included the Milky Jelly Cleanser, a cult favorite that gently cleans off dirt, oil, and makeup while hydrating the skin, Priming Moisturizer, which creates a dewy, smooth canvas for makeup. The Perfecting Skin Tint, which is a very light and hydrating tint which leaves skin looking healthy and fresh. And the Balm Dotcom, which is a multipurpose balm for anywhere that's dry. Lips, face, elbows, knees, anywhere that needs a little extra moisture! The theory behind Glossier's products is to take care of your skin and keep everything very fresh and natural.

On to the makeup! Glossier's Phase 2 line has three amazing products that are bound to sell out fast! Their Stretch Concealer adds a little more coverage on top of the skin tint and is supposed to stretch with your skin so it's never cakey or obvious that you're wearing it. The highly-raved-about Boy Brow is supposed to thicken, fill in, and groom brows so they're natural but defined.

Left to Right: Crush, Like, Cake, and Jam

Finally, They released the Generation G lipcolor, which comes in 4 gorgeous shades, two pinks, a nude, and a berry, and is supposed to look like a popsicle-stain more than a lipstick. There are two fairly natural shades, and two brighter ones for an extra pop of color, but they're all beautiful! Crush is going to be gorgeous for Spring/Summer, and Cake is very simple and pretty!

I ended up only buying the stretch concealer, because I didn't currently have a concealer I liked (and also because I'm a poor college student). And while I wish it was the TINIEST bit lighter in shade, it's actually an amazing formula, and since it has a slightly yellow tint, it works wonders as an under-eye concealer! I will definitely be collecting the entire range in the future!
